My friend Karen just released her Moss Crossbody Phone Purse pattern and I was lucky enough to get to preview the pattern before it was released. I decided to make a little tag to go with her pattern and share it on my blog today. I added a set of tags that match the ones inspired by this bag, it is my new Collins Collection printables and you can find the other tags in my Etsy Shop.

Here is a fun way to create tags with this printable
I used a Fiskars tag punch and eyelet setter to cut out and add the eyelet to my hang tags. This punch is really handy and works with these printables. I find it best to cut the printables into strips to fit best in the punch, also remember when printing to make sure you are printing at 100%.
When I cut out the tags with this punch I hold the punch upside down so that I can center the cutting area on the tag before punching it out. Then use the hole punch on the front side of the punch and then use the eyelet setter to add the eyelet.
When attaching my tags I will either add a string or use a bulb safety pin. Using eyelets is really a great way to add a professional looking tag to your makes. I will link all the supplies that I use below.

Update: I purchased my Fiskars Tag Punch at Joann and since their closing that version of the tag punch is not available. I have linked the one that I found that is the closest match to what I used when I originally posted this blog post.

I haven’t found other eyelets yet that work with this punch set, I am still trying to find ones that work with the eyelet setter, so far only the Fiskars brand ones have worked, though I haven’t tried a whole lot of different ones.
