Cute Knit Bee Toy Pattern & Free Printable

I shared this recipe in 2021 on how I make a bee toy using my Addi Express Professional Knitting Machine. As many of you know my blog was hacked in 2022 and I am slowly adding back posts, I decided to include the Bee Printables that I had in my Etsy shop. I am adding the hand cut version of the tags that I made when I gift these bees. I do also have a Cricut or Cutting Machine version still available in my Etsy Shop.

Quick Row Count Card
Materials Needed
Worsted Weight Yarn (Yarn used is Knit Picks Brava) 3 colors Yellow, Black and White
Crochet Hooks (2 sizes, 4mm and 5mm)
Poly-Fil
Safety Eyes or Felt Eyes (I buy my felt eyes from a few different Etsy Shops) Aleana Lae Etsy Shop Kehrer Berry Crafts Etsy Shop
Darning Needle
Optional Daisy Vegan Suede Tag
Tension: Tightest if using a Savlabot Tension Fork. Hand Tension should be tight. If using other knitting machines with tension rod use the two holes closest to the machine.
Let's Get Started
I do not use waste yarn when casting on and off for this project.
Cut yarn between each color, leaving about 3 inches or so for the tails, to ensure they do not slip out while knitting.
Cast on with yellow and crank out:
Yellow: 12 Rows
Black: 5 Rows
Yellow: 5 Rows
Black: 5 Rows
Yellow: 5 Rows
Black: 3 Rows
Yellow: 30 Rows
Total Rows: 65

I love adding my Amigurumi tags to these little bees and designed a daisy tag that is a perfect match for a bee toy!
