I found a really easy Cowl pattern from Little Doolally. Her One Skein Cowl pattern was well written and easy to follow. I made some slight changes to the pattern by using 2 colors and loved they way my cowl came out.
For my cowl I used Knit Picks Comfy Worsted Cotton. You can find the pattern for this cowl by visiting Little Doolally’s Website for the pattern, she has the pattern available in her Ravelry Store as well in American and English versions.
The pattern repeats over 2 rounds until you reach the desired length, I used 4 balls of Knit Picks Comfy Cotton to complete my cowl. 2 balls in Sea Foam and 2 balls in Ivory.
The pattern has detailed pictures to show you how to work the clusters and is an easy pattern to memorize.
My finished cowl was a bit longer than suggested in the pattern as I used twice the amount of yarn needed. That is one of the nice things about this pattern is it is easy to modify the size. The pattern repeats over 2 rounds and you can repeat those rounds as many times as you want, until you reach your desired length.
To work a cowl in the One Skein Cowl pattern using this 2 color style simply alternate between 2 colors.
